Monthly Product Update | April and May 2026

April and May have been two of the biggest months yet for DJ Teams, introducing major improvements across reporting, team management, scheduling, communications, and lead management.

The headline feature of this release is the introduction of fully customisable dashboards, giving you complete control over how you view and monitor your business. Alongside this, we've launched new staff and availability tools, meeting management, calendar integrations, Kanban boards, and a range of quality-of-life improvements throughout the platform.

Here's what's new.

๐Ÿ“Š Introducing Customisable Dashboards

One of the biggest additions in this release is the introduction of fully customisable dashboards.

Every business operates differently, so we've redesigned reporting to give you greater flexibility over the information you see when you log in.

You can now:

  • Create multiple dashboards
  • Start from a template or build from scratch
  • Choose the widgets and metrics most relevant to your business
  • Rearrange dashboard layouts to suit your workflow
  • Build dashboards focused on sales, bookings, finances, operations, or team management

Whether you want a simple overview of upcoming events or a detailed breakdown of enquiry performance and booking trends, dashboards can now be tailored to the way you work.

๐Ÿค– AI Dashboard Builder

We've also introduced an AI Dashboard Builder to help you get started faster.

Simply describe the type of dashboard you'd like to create, and AI can suggest a starting layout with relevant widgets and metrics already in place.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Staff, Availability & Scheduling

We've introduced a completely new Staff area, providing a better way to manage operators, team members, and contractors.

Staff can now be managed independently from CRM user accounts, allowing you to maintain staff records without immediately granting system access.

Alongside this, we've added comprehensive availability management features, allowing you to:

  • Record staff availability and unavailability
  • Manage recurring unavailable periods
  • View availability directly within the calendar
  • Assign operators to leads
  • Check availability before making assignments
  • Track assignment activity within lead history

These improvements make coordinating teams and managing workloads significantly easier.

๐Ÿ“… Meetings, Calendar Sync & Availability Checker Forms

Scheduling has received a substantial upgrade throughout DJ Teams.

Lead meetings can now be created directly within the CRM, including:

  • Guest management
  • Calendar invitations
  • Meeting cancellations

To keep schedules synchronised, lead meetings can also be connected to Google and Microsoft calendars.

We've also introduced public availability checker forms, allowing customers to check available dates or request meetings directly from your website before submitting an enquiry.

๐Ÿ“‹ New Kanban Boards for Leads & Bookings

Managing enquiries visually is now easier with the introduction of Kanban boards for both leads and bookings.

You can now:

  • View enquiries grouped by pipeline stage
  • Drag and drop leads and bookings between stages
  • Track progress through your sales process more visually
  • Create cloned views for different workflows and teams

For businesses handling large numbers of enquiries, Kanban boards provide a faster and more intuitive way to manage opportunities.

๐ŸŽจ New Contact & Lead Pages (Beta)

A redesigned contact and lead experience is now available in beta.

The new layouts provide:

  • Improved customer summaries
  • Faster access to actions and key information
  • Updated activity widgets
  • Better organisation of customer records
  • Improved usability across desktop and mobile devices

We've also introduced additional navigation improvements, including updated tab organisation and helpful tooltips throughout the interface.

๐Ÿค– AI Writing Assistance

Artificial intelligence has also been expanded into everyday communications.

AI Assist can now help draft and refine:

  • Customer emails
  • SMS messages
  • Replies and responses

This helps reduce repetitive administration while maintaining a professional and consistent customer experience.

๐Ÿ“จ Communication Improvements

Communication tools continue to expand throughout the platform.

SMS messaging is now available directly from contacts, leads, and the inbox, making it easier to communicate with customers without switching between systems.

We've also added greater flexibility to lead capture forms, allowing you to choose who receives notifications for new enquiries and which email address is used when communicating with customers.

๐ŸŽต Playlist App Enhancements

Several improvements have been made to the playlist experience.

Recent updates include:

  • Additional song metadata, including cue points, BPM, and sample rate information
  • Improved playlist table ordering
  • More reliable song matching
  • Better alignment of controls within the customer music portal

These refinements help make playlist preparation quicker and more accurate.

โšก Everyday Workflow Improvements

A range of quality-of-life improvements have also been introduced throughout DJ Teams.

These include:

  • Multiple calendar feed subscriptions
  • Calendar feed filtering by event type and booking criteria
  • Campaign list exports
  • Subscriber management for dynamic campaign lists
  • Floating form actions that remain visible while scrolling
  • Automatic popup closing after successful actions
  • Improved questionnaire draft saving

We've also improved the rich-text editor to ensure customised email signature layouts are preserved correctly when editing communications.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Reliability & Bug Fixes

Alongside new functionality, we've continued improving reliability across the platform.

Fixes during April and May included:

  • Lead and booking stage selection issues
  • Song matching reliability improvements
  • Contract PDF generation issues
  • Inbox scrolling behaviour
  • Migration page loading issues
  • Safari private browsing embed compatibility
  • Resource filtering issues
  • Various beta interface improvements

๐Ÿ”ฎ What's Coming Next
