Monthly Product Update | March 2026
March has been one of the biggest months yet for DJ Teams. This month’s updates introduced major new workflows for contracts, invoices, payments, accounting, migration, and communication, while also continuing to improve the day-to-day CRM experience across mobile and core screens.
Here’s what’s new.
✍️ A Completely Redesigned Contracts Workflow
Contracts have been completely overhauled, making it much easier to create, send and sign documents inside DJ Teams.
You can now:
- Import Word documents and PDFs
- Paste in contract content directly
- Place signing fields with drag and drop
- Let signers use drawn, uploaded or typed signatures
- Export signed PDFs with a built-in audit trail
- Receive clearer notifications for contract activity
💳 Invoicing, Payments and Accounting Now Built In
This release introduces a much more complete invoicing and payments workflow.
You can now create invoices from templates, set payment schedules and reminders, generate downloadable PDFs, and offer secure online payments through the customer portal.
Support has also been added for:
- Milestone payments
- Full-balance payments
- Payment tracking
- Refunds
- Credits
Alongside this, DJ Teams now includes built-in Xero and QuickBooks integrations, making it easier to keep invoices and payments aligned with your accounting software.
💼 Packages and Products in the Booking Workflow
Packages and products can now be added directly to leads and bookings.
This makes it easier to build up services, pricing and deposit expectations as part of the booking journey, without needing to manage those details separately.
📥 A New Inbox and Expanded Customer Portal
A new inbox has been added to help you manage customer conversations in one place. You can now review thread history, reply from within the CRM, and organise conversations more easily.
The customer portal has also been expanded so clients can now:
- Review contracts
- Sign documents
- View invoices
- Download files
- Make payments online
Together, these changes make it much easier to keep communication and customer actions connected in one workflow.
📦 Easier Migration and Imports
We’ve also introduced a guided migration workflow for bringing existing data into DJ Teams.
You can now upload, review and process imported data in a more structured way, with expanded support for items such as:
- Packages
- Venues
- Music requests
- Communication templates
This should make getting set up, or moving over from another system, much simpler.
⚡ Smoother Everyday Workflows
A number of improvements have also been made across the day-to-day CRM experience. These include:
- New dashboard stats with clearer comparison values
- Real-time communication updates while viewing contacts, leads and bookings
- Financial summaries on bookings, including support for table views
- A new cancelled outcome for pipeline stages
- Improved organisation of lead and booking headers
📱 Reliability and Mobile Improvements
Alongside the bigger feature work, we also resolved several issues across the platform, including fixes for:
- Mobile scrolling and navigation on leads and contacts
- Active tab display on mobile
- Playlist visibility in the playlist app
- Song import handling when artist names are missing
- Gmail forwarding to the correct recipients
🔒 Stronger Account Security
Two-factor authentication and additional login checks are now available to help keep accounts better protected, without adding unnecessary friction to day-to-day use.
🔮 What’s Coming Next
Work is already underway on the next set of improvements, including:
- Kanban views for leads
- Kanban views for bookings
- An availability checker with embeddable support
